Operating Room Nurse Supervisor

A large hospital nestled in the beautiful mountains of northern California is actively interviewing for an experienced operating room nurse to be their next Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager.
The Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager will work with a tight-knit team of experienced perioperative professionals that is proud to work at this award winning medical center.
This hospital provides high quality surgical care to its patients and employs area renowned surgeons that offer the following surgical specialties:
orthopedics, urology, ENT, pain management, plastics & cosmetics, and gastroenterology.
Partnering with area medical groups, clinics and other healthcare systems has set this surgical services team up for long term success.
The Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager will work throughout 12 operating rooms, and the experienced RN will report to the Surgery Services Clinical Nursing Manager.
The Surgical Services OR ANM will work with the Nurse Manager on staff management, schedules, education and inservices.
Moreover, administrative responsibilities such as policy development, quality improvement and performance improvement projects will be implemented by the Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager and Perioperative Nurse Director.
The Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager will work hands on providing patient care.
Other responsibilities of the OR Nurse Supervisor include educating patient families on surgery plans, rehabilitation processes and overall patient care plans.
The Surgery Team at this hospital are experienced perioperative professionals and many of the Staff RNs have their CNOR credentials.
There is good department cohesion between the pre-admissions, pre-op, operating room and PACU/Recovery teams.

Salary:
$39 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
